Where are Rural Doctors?

Winter 2024 | A Social Campaign

I launched a social campaign aimed at addressing the shortage of doctors in rural Alberta by calling for more opportunities and increased funding for healthcare in these underserved areas. The campaign used irony to highlight the issue, drawing a clever comparison between the difficulty of finding Waldo in the popular "Where's Waldo" books and the scarcity of doctors in rural communities. Just as Waldo can be hard to spot, so too are doctors in rural Alberta, where healthcare professionals are sparse and difficult to find. Through this campaign, I sought to raise awareness and advocate for meaningful change to ensure that every Albertan, no matter where they live, has access to the care they deserve.
