Toolkit for the Split

Fall 2024 | Bridging Political Polarization

We designed Toolkit for the Split with the aim of addressing political polarization in an engaging and insightful way. The game challenges players to explore complex political terms like "gaslighting" through a visual example, followed by a clear definition and thought-provoking discussion questions. Played in a format similar to "Heads Up," it encourages interaction while promoting meaningful conversations.

The game’s packaging is inspired by the Common Ground Politics logo, featuring a speech bubble that reinforces the theme of communication and mutual understanding. We also crafted a custom logo for the toolkit that complements the Common Ground brand, ensuring a cohesive and visually inviting look. The colour palette was thoughtfully chosen to align with the logo, creating a unified design that emphasizes the game’s goal of fostering dialogue and bridging divides.
