For one of the Olympic events in Paris, I designed a ceramic slip-cast trophy inspired by the colors and forms central to the Games’ branding. Focusing on sport climbing, I emphasized the physicality of the climb rather than the summit, drawing visual cues from the Le Bourget climbing venue. To create the piece, I 3D-printed a plug for the slip cast, then finished and mounted it on a custom-cut base. A precision-engraved metal element, produced via fiber laser cutting, completes the design, blending craftsmanship with contemporary fabrication techniques..
